Six-year-olds and their (slightly twisted) view of Mario
When Japan-based 4cr staffer and elementary school teacher Vinnk tried using the Mario universe to teach his young students the English words for family members, he can't have been expecting a lesson of his own on the Mario family tree from a classroom of six-year-olds.That's exactly what he did get however, with his pupils patiently pointing out that Wario, Mario, Luigi, and Peach were all siblings, that Bowser is either their father or uncle, and that Luigi must be older than Mario because he's taller. We're still no clearer on what Yoshi's role is in this incestuous mess, and it's not something we wish to dwell on for longer than is necessary.
Anyway, for the full hilarious/adorable transcript of this exchange, hit the "Read" link below. It made our morning.

Bowser: Mario I am your father.
Mario: NO! It's not true. It's IMPOSSIBLE!
Bowser: Oh but it is. Join with me and the galaxy will be ours as father and son.
Han: Oh I see. It's Mario isn't it?
Peach: No, no. Mario's my brother.

"Luigi must be older than Mario because he's taller."

You're arguing the logic of six-year-old kids...

I agree with 4CR commenter VINNK, the "English" teacher might be the worst on the planet.
Why not just use drawings to help the kids learn, like Rukia does?
Peace.

I think drawings of overly cute bunnies that look almost identical to each other would only make things more confusing for the poor little kids.
I say use muppets and everything'll make sense. :3

Sorry, the 4CR commenter was "Mitch" NOT "VINNK".

Reminds me of the guy that was using Penny Arcade comics with no words and letting kids come up with their own scenarios. Here's the link: http://yukihime.com/comics/paremix/

He SHOULD have explained that they all came from mushrooms, much like the Cabbage Patch Kids. Or he could go about evolution/alternate dimensions and show them that 80's movie.

Oh boy,
That was really, really funny. Poor kids. Someone needs to help them out. Nintendo--you're stories must not be very clear in the Mario-realm. . . . And here, all this time, I thought it was as simple as "The princess is in another castle."
Oh dear,
