DS Fanboy poll: What's your favorite DS Lite?

So, with the latest and greatest news involving a new Cobalt Blue DS Lite (hey, we're giving one away!), we were wondering what the stance is on the other models. Which do you own? Which you do feel is the superior color scheme for your favorite handheld unit? No better way to label final answer on such an important question than by asking you, the reader, what you think.

Aye, that's the one I have. It's fugly, but I'm a cheapskate and it was cheaper than buying a prettier DS (red/black is my favourite western colour) and Zelda. ;)

I've got Onyx nad it's awesome. People complain about fingerprints, but I just don't touch the front very much so it's all good.

I always drool over the ice blue. I own the white but have gotten tired of how plain it is. If Nintendo released the ice blue stateside, I'd buy it. A bright green would be highly desirable as well.

Yeah I was kinda getting used to owning funky colored handhelds [dark green GBC and purple GBA]... but I really love my grown-up-onyx DS!!

I own a polar white. But the silver is what gets me going. It matches my Powerbook and iPod.

I have an onyx but only until I can get a cobalt. Runner up goes to silver.

I really, really love my Onyx, but the Gold Zelda edition is just too amazing for words. So, my vote goes to the Gold Zelda edition.
However, I would do terrible, evil things to see an Atomic Purple (think N64, people) DS Lite.

I do like my white, because I've got a really cool skin on it, with clouds and colorful stripes. But if I replaced it, I like silver, or maybe the onyx...
But honestly, if there was a great deal on it, I'd take pretty much any color.

but the Lite's better battery life would be advantageous for the forthcoming Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword and Dragon Quest IX
Possibly Days of Ruin, too, although Radiant Dawn has made me kinda burnt out on strategy right now.

I always liked the classic white, other than it getting dirty, it just looks the best. I Colbalt is definitely a runner up however.

heyyyyyyyyy!!! Where is the crimson and black dragon ds!! That one is simply awesome in the flesh! Since I can't get it I have to say I love the gold ds lite. I love the color but its the triforce that gets to me :)

Hey, I really like my Coral Pink DS Lite (no fingerprints/smudges or dirt in the seams) that I won last November in my office raffle. However, I just ordered an import Gloss Silver DS Lite last week and it should be here any day now! I had a hard time deciding between that one and the Ice Blue DS Lite, but I think I made the correct choice...

I've got a white lite myself but went through quite a bit of stress to get my girl the perfect DS lite (since she was hogging mine ever since I lent it to her when she went on holiday).
First I was just browsing to see what colours were available, and on the amazon.jp site, the pink version (royal pink i think it's called) looks so much pink-er than our coral version, so I set out to get it, eventually getting it from ebay (amazon.jp would not ship electronics to europe). Only upon arrival did i discover that it's exactly the same shade of pink.... However, luck was on my side as first: I won a trip to Tokyo! (hurray!) and second: a colleague of mine wanted me to bring him a DS for his daughter, and didn't really mind what colour, he just wanted it from japan cause they're cheaper over there! So I got the slick metallic pink over there for my girlfriend, and gave my colleague the royal pink one I got off of ebay! (at japanese retail price) So he was happy he had a cheap DS, and I didn't think twice about the price I paid once I got the sleek metallic rose for my honey, who absolutely LOVES it!
And I should mention, I'm a bit envious of her. The metallic pink's finish makes it look like a more expensive device, doesn't leave smudges and she loves the fact that it's so exclusive ^^
The metallic colours really do look A LOT better imho! (I know what I'll be getting should my white suffer a painful death)

I purchased the Polar White on the day of release.
I loved that machine. Hardy, shiny, easy to keep clean. The only thing that would show up on its finish was actual dirt.
Then it got stolen, and I replaced it with an Onyx. The Onyx has as crisp a screen as the PW, however, even fingerprints look like a horrible dirty thing on its finish. I find myself blowing dust off it on a regular basis as well as wiping it incessantly with a small square of silk to try to keep it "sightly".
I miss my PW.

I use a polar white, and haven't really been impressed enough by other colors to buy another DS.

I like the lightness, smoothness and the way it looks.
I dont really like the black or white one.
I wanna see the metallic rose one though.
