Toys R Us slashes price on Guitar Hero III bundle

For those of you who might have steered clear of Guitar Hero III because the price was just too high for you, take note: Toys R Us is now offering up the bundle for $69.99, which is $20 less than its normal price. With that extra coin, you could pick up a classic controller or just pocket the cash. Getting the wireless Les Paul that comes bundled in for $20 less than everyone else would make us feel so special, if you ask us.

exactly what I was thinking... what's the point of buying this if all you are to do is mail them the disc and wait another couple of weeks for it to come back...

Wish one of the stores in the UK would do this, but for 360 (Downloads :) )

and its only $10 cheaper on Wii, because it says on that flyer that the others get it $10 off

If they don't, and you already opened it, just buy it from Toys R Us and then return the new copy to Best Buy

Was able to pick one of these up today!

After reading that the stand-alone GH III Guitars would be $59.99!!! @#$%^% I figured I would get one of these today, weeks before the stand-alone even comes out!

Even better is that I still had my $25 TRU gift card from my Mario Galaxy purchase. So in the end, the 2nd Guitar (I already have owned a copy of GH III since release day) with an extra copy of the game only cost me ~$50 (after tax). Not to bad.

Even better is the fact that I can keep rocking out while the incompetents at Activision replace my 1st copy of the game while I am able to still play my 2nd one! Once they are both replaced, it is off to ebay for the 2nd copy, to make the overall purchase that much cheaper!
