DS Phat mod pays homage to the N64

eBay user luckey92 knows what to do with an old DS Phat: mod it! The second part of auctioning it off online and donating 20% of the sale to Child's Play isn't something that we'd probably do ourselves, however. It's not that we're horrible people who don't care about good organizations that bring fun and hope to sick children all over, it's that we're horrible people who love the DS and would hold onto this sucker forever. We'd probably sit it next to our N64 and take pictures, then conduct a mock wedding between two N64s, with this DS being their offspring.
We'd then name them the Pac-Mans.

Half the proceeds, not just 20%. I respect his efforts greatly, and though I wouldn't buy a third DS, I would gladly ask him how he got the LED's to work and such.

I don't get why he imported those protectors. Hori sells them through fry's and jr.com.

Oh, my bad. He changed it. In the video he mentions 50%, but in the comments he says 20%.
Still, the LED's interest me, and I'm sure many others!
...Fit them onto my M3 DS Simply, that'd be a 1up!

I think the most important part is that it has GENUINE HORI SCREEN PROTECTORS! IT'S THE MOST RESPECTED BRAND IN JAPAN FOR SCREEN PROTECTORS, GUYS!!

I wish he'd get a friend or a tripod or SOMETHING to hold the bloody camera for him.
The mod is nifty and everything, but c'mon... if this a product you've spent time and money on, don't you want to represent it as best you can? Invest in a bloody tripod or stand....
