Dojo update: A new approach
From today onwards, we'll be adopting a slightly different approach to our daily updates on Brawl. As director Sakurai is now dedicating the dojo to the numerous hidden characters, stages, and features that are lurking in this most content-heavy of games, we're going to be concealing any new Brawl revelations past the post break. It's the best way we can still bring you the latest Brawl news, without ruining the game for those who are taking a wide berth from spoilers.
If you care not a jot about reading up on Brawl's myriad secrets, then we'll see you past the break!
Update: Galleries have now also been posted past the break.

As certified F-Zero nuts, we were beginning to wonder where our F-Zero stage had got to in Brawl. Thankfully, Sakurai and his team hadn't forgotten about the venerable racing series, and a stage based on Port Town Aero Dive, a track from the GameCube and arcade versions of F-Zero, appeared on the dojo today. Like Mute City in Melee, all of the brawling will be carried out on platforms that whizz around the circuit, occasionally stopping at certain locations to show off some magnificent views. We like!

B...but what about Ness?
Croove55 @ Feb 4th 2008 4:02PM
Sorry for the double-post, but your spoiler-free approach is kinda hampered when the new screenshots end up on the front page with the gallery previews.....
j..just saying.....
ChrisG @ Feb 4th 2008 4:23PM
We hear you Croove (and we're sorry about Ness)! If you guys do have any feedback on how we can make this more spoiler-free, just say, and we'll tweak.
Sounds like putting the galleries after the break with everything else might be a start. Noted. :)

isn't it a little late for the new approach? lol
Cyantre @ Feb 4th 2008 4:42PM
Yeah,... having the newest screenshots in the gallery puts a huge hole in your plans to keep spoilers suspended until after the break. It would probably be a good idea to not attach the link to the gallery for the game in these "spoiler-free" post.

When viewed from the RSS feed, there's no link back to the main site to view the rest of the article. The whole entry just appears there.
C'mon, I don't want to have to take you guys off my RSS reader just so I can remain spoiler free!
ChrisG @ Feb 4th 2008 5:41PM
Hm, that's very difficult to avoid, I'm afraid. Sorry, simplicity. :(
Brandon Kuehl @ Feb 4th 2008 5:20PM
thesimplicity, it's very simple then. Don't click on Dojo entries in the RSS feed. They're all going to be related to spoiler information anyways.
thesimplicity @ Feb 5th 2008 9:57AM
My reader displays the full entry, not just the title or anything like that. So when I click 'next item' it brings up the whole shebang. :(
Blue_Falcon @ Feb 4th 2008 11:36PM
Now let's see some more Captain Falcon.
The Dojo is lacking a serious amount of Falcon Punch-ing.

I support this idea and any non-alcoholic beverages it may or may not be sponsoring.

do spoilers matter all that much when as soon as you sign on line for a match youll see all the hidden characters and levels will be available to you...

Thankyou, Wii Fanboy - you've made me feel just a little bit better about the interminable wait to get Brawl here in Australia (it makes me cry to think that there are a bunch of lucky bastards out there playing Brawl RIGHT NOW...).
Knowing that information about new games just gets blasted around ad nauseum on the internet, I was worried I would have to stop looking up gaming news, full stop, simply so as to at least have some kind of a surprise when I finally get my Brawl on. Thanks for thinking of us stuck out here, cold and Brawlless. :(
