I'd take online.. way more fun to expand your tactical prowess across the net :P
Chief @ Feb 4th 2008 3:58PM
I'm more interested in single player, as that is what AW has always been about. I'd play online a few times, if only to try tactics out with little consequence to game progress.
TheCoats @ Jan 30th 2008 9:51AM
When i saw it was wifi thatswhat i thought i would buy it for but the main game has distracted me from playing it on line
Justin @ Jan 30th 2008 9:54AM
Single Player, as usual. Unless there was also local multiplayer, I really dig that.
Jon Dohnson @ Jan 30th 2008 9:57AM
with the messing up of the battlemap features and the addition of voice chat to online play, i would have to say online play now.
Patrick @ Jan 30th 2008 9:57AM
I think the DS lacks any real good multiplayer wi-fi experience. Why wasn't COD4 DS with Wi-fi? I think that this game should prove one of the best multiplayer titles out there.
tratch @ Jan 30th 2008 9:58AM
The single player campaign usually takes up all my time.
Stewart @ Jan 30th 2008 9:58AM
Neither. Although I would probably play online more than the single-player, what I really want this for is the hotseat play. I have a group of 4 friends, and we are currently in the middle of a hotseat Age of Empires game, that is some good stuff. Once we finish that, it would be great to start a hotseat Advance Wars game!
thesimplicity @ Jan 30th 2008 9:59AM
With the addition of voice chat, I'm all about the online mode. Now I just need to get one of those cheap plastic headsets. And some friends.
Ryan G @ Jan 30th 2008 10:00AM
Definitely the single player at first, but later possibly online play if it's not a huge pain in the ass to get it working.
txa1265 @ Jan 30th 2008 10:01AM
I am interested in the Single Player ... but of course I'll play some online as well.
Joey @ Jan 30th 2008 10:06AM
This game looooooks sweeeeeeeeet.
Big money, big money, no whammies....
Aluvendale @ Jan 30th 2008 10:08AM
Single player. . . .at least until I got the hang of it.
B @ Jan 30th 2008 10:10AM
I'd say I'm more for the online play, with the single player being training for online:D
Mooga @ Jan 30th 2008 10:10AM
I'm more interested in single player, since I commute over 2 hours every day. But also multi-player since I know many other with the game :)
Jedijoe9 @ Jan 30th 2008 10:12AM
Single Player. I played a couple of games of Mario Kart online, but the DS multilayer feels pretty nerfed to me so I don't really bother.
kevin @ Jan 30th 2008 10:15AM
Single player for now - my strategy game skills are lacking and I need to practice before embarrassing myself in a public game.
Josh @ Jan 30th 2008 10:20AM
Single player. I don't want to embarrass myself online.
nevsky42 @ Jan 30th 2008 10:21AM
Single player; I've already blown countless hours on the first AW game and Fire Emblem...
Martin @ Jan 30th 2008 10:23AM
Single player for me. The hacker kids got themselves a trianer that works with online play, so I'm sure that won't last long.
Otherwise it'd be online.
Austin Smith @ Jan 30th 2008 10:23AM
I'm more excited about the single player. I think the new style will make this a rather unique campaign.
acefondu @ Jan 30th 2008 10:24AM
Single Player!
Rob @ Jan 30th 2008 10:27AM
Online play, I enjoy playing against other people and seeing how well I do.
Eddy @ Jan 30th 2008 10:28AM
I love this series. Single player.
Stephen @ Jan 30th 2008 10:29AM
Online play, for sure.
KamenRiderTakoyaki @ Jan 30th 2008 10:30AM
Single player, I have no business playing online with my terrible strategies.
Kenny @ Jan 30th 2008 10:30AM
Single Player definatly, mostly because my router hates wifi on DS. :(
Clandaith @ Jan 30th 2008 10:34AM
Online all the way.
Jon Yi @ Jan 30th 2008 10:36AM
Single Player!
DiahrreaMan @ Jan 30th 2008 10:37AM
Single player I'd say. I've tried the gba iterations of the game and am curious how this DS version improves on it.
Plus, my friends are obsessed with it!
Kai Wong @ Jan 30th 2008 10:37AM
Surprisingly enough, the single-player. I've always been a fan for playing online, but I can tell that the developers have actually put a lot of effort into making characters and a story that resonate with players. Then again, it could also be that AWDS kinda ruined the online experience for me. Even so, after I finish the campaign/get my DS repaired, I'll jump into online.
Ron @ Jan 30th 2008 10:40AM
single player
Brandon5000 @ Jan 30th 2008 10:42AM
I like single player more, but after it's done, multiplayer is what keeps it alive.
pacokorn77 @ Jan 30th 2008 10:42AM
Single player campaign. I always look for an engaging campaign mode, so I'm wondering how they did this time considering the massive change.
itsgottabeodin @ Jan 30th 2008 10:44AM
single player - its all about the storylines for me
foosnark @ Jan 30th 2008 10:46AM
Single player, definitely. (Though maybe I'd get into multi later on, more likely I'd just move on to more games)
thadwhit @ Jan 30th 2008 10:55AM
For now it would have to be single player until I get high speed internet again.
TriptychR @ Jan 30th 2008 10:56AM
Since I don't have WiFi, I have to go with the single player experience.
natez0r @ Jan 30th 2008 11:00AM
online play ftw
CJC @ Jan 30th 2008 11:01AM
Anonymous online people are often jerks. Give me single player!
Daniel @ Jan 30th 2008 11:01AM
Single player
Eric Y @ Jan 30th 2008 11:01AM
I'm more interested in single player play. I usually just want to sit and play my DS when I have time and be able to put it down when I need to, not be tied to a match.
Homerun @ Jan 30th 2008 11:03AM
Online Play because its so awesome to battle with people around the world. Plus it has voice chat so that makes it sweeter. It would be a really great experience for me to finally play the series.
Opus @ Jan 30th 2008 11:04AM
Single player. I tried playing online once in Mario Kart and a few times in Tetris. Got my ass kicked soundly. I'm just not hardcore enough to compete with the rest of the world.
Ryan @ Jan 30th 2008 11:07AM
online FTW... nothing like shaming friends over great distances.
Mike @ Jan 30th 2008 11:13AM
Single player.
Girricane @ Jan 30th 2008 11:14AM
Single player definitely, if the game isn't any good I'm not gonna bother with getting better at it and taking it online.
Rob @ Jan 30th 2008 11:15AM
Grew up on single player, and will stay with single player.
Until, of course, I'm 100% satisfied with my progress then I'll venture online. I have no wireless access in my home though >.
Tracy @ Jan 30th 2008 11:15AM
Single Player.
Nik @ Jan 30th 2008 11:20AM
single player
