Checking out more of Snakebyte's Riimote

When we saw the very GameCube-like purple Wiimote knock-off that was being offered by third-party peripheral manufacturer Snakebyte we thought, "Wow, now that is some purple." We then immediately wrote it off, as the controller just looks kind of ugly to us. Oh, and it costs about the same as Nintendo's official Wiimote, so there's also that.

For those of you still eager to try out Snakebyte's alternative, know that they also have a black model planned. Oh, and they're working on their own version of the wireless nunchuk, as well as a classic controller. Pictures of it all can be found in our gallery below.

Seriously, what's the point if they cost the same as a Nintendo Wiimote? I'd rather pay $10 extra and pick up Wii Play if it came to that, even.

Why did they have to keep that ridiculous dual analog config on the CC? Swap the dpad and the left analog for crying out loud.

Those analog sticks are ugly and full of fail. Other than that I like the black controllers.

You think that these guys would change the button arrangement on their wiimote like so many other third-party console peripheral manufacturers do. Like use N'Gai Croal's mock-up design having the + and - buttons above the A button. C'mon Snakebyte, you could do something to persuade me to buy your shit.

Curse you Snakebite! I was able to laugh at your hideous wiimote a few days ago, but that two tone nunchuk is pretty nice....

Why does NWFB keep saying it is like the purple of the GC? The GC color was indigo blue, that is girly purple! I won't be buying it especailly since I already have 4 remotes, 2 nunchucks and 2 classic controllers and 2 Wavebirds. Sorry snakebyte I think you missed the boat, well at least with me.
