Iwata Asks Sakurai: Volume 4
Another day, another portion of the discussion between Satoru Iwata and Masahiro Sakurai. And today's focus is on the single-player experience in Brawl, which has gotten a lot more love from Sakurai than from those who've worked on previous installments in the franchise.Essentially, he describes the single-player campaign as a completely different experience than that of the tried-and-true multiplayer game, citing differences in both character movement and the "basic game system." On top of that, it will offer players a more fleshed-out and digestible storyline, instead of just tossing the player into a scenario and asking them to complete it.

Not all games need story lines. Especially this one. I hope Nintendo doesn't lose sight of that.
That being said I do enjoy this adventure that awaits me. Its like the time Bugs Bunny met Mickey Mouse to fight drugs.

Me + Bestbuy = A copy of No More Heroes
No More Heroes + Me = A weekend of neglecting my fiance and all other responsibilities

i don't think the story will be too deep. hopefully there won't be pages of text to scroll through.
on a side note, up until now, the only brawl videos i've seen were either posted here or on the dojo, so i haven't seen much. but today i watched many videos posted at gametrailers. i got giddy with excitement every time i saw pit.
anyways, i saw a video that outlines a few of the newcomers moves and tactics. in the intro they show the character select screen, which contains 4 rows of 11 characters! 44 characters! is this real? i could identify most by sight (bowzer jr, midna, game&watch, black shadow), but some i did not recognize. where can i find a list of the characters and their names?!

Notice the question mark cursor. That means they doubt it's real.

i believe the question mark means "random character".
the only problem i see is that manaphy has been confirmed on the dojo but is not shown.
also, who is third from right, bottom row?

My bet is that the depth will sit somewhere in between the storylines of other such great crossovers
Deeper than Flintstones meet the Jetsons, but not so deep as the glorious DC vs Marvel (god i loved that)

My DC vs. Marvel expertise goes as fas as the CCG Marvel Vs., which was one hell of a CCG when introduced, but now is pretty broken (like most other CCGs after they've been introduced).
Anywho, back to your regular programming ...
:)
