We can't be too sure of the quality of D3's Simple DS Vol. 32 THE Zombie Crisis. Neither the Simple series nor the stylus-based first-person zombie-shooting genre are hallmarks of high quality. In fact, we'll take that back. We're pretty sure that THE Zombie Crisis isn't very good.
Despite the low budget, the limitations of the genre (on DS) and the fact that the zombie crisis happens to coincide with a thick fog that is so pervasive as to have gotten indoors, we actually like what we see here. It's fast-paced and there are a lot of weapons. Not to mention the excellent title screen, which is almost worth the price of purchase by itself. Who cares if the zombies aren't that great graphically? They're not going to be on screen long, if you're playing the game right.

Whoever is playing this needs a zombie kill method primer. The head, man! Aim for the head! Although the rapid crotch knifing did make me laugh.

is this like a buyable game?.....the simple series made me think it was buy/download?,.,.,.,.,.,.,.speaking of zombie ds titles.....dementiium....kind of awsome....touch the dead is wel i dont know?....has anyone played that.....is it worth the 15 dollar price?

Yep, I think Touch The Dead is worth the money. Bad graphics, but quite funny.

What is up with the shotgun only holding one round? Do I hear banjos? Now that would be scary.

you do actually have to pump a shotgun after youve fired it usually. It empties the spent round from the chamber and inserts a new one, kind of how semi-auto pistols have that "kick back", but theirs is, as the name suggests, automatic

I know how shotguns work, but the yellow number is the capacity of the firearm. The pistol seems to hold 6 and the SMG holds 90. It looks to me that the shotgun holds 1. Then you reload. That is what I was getting at. They did it in a weird way. Following their logic, you fire one shell, then reload (they may have intended it to be a pump, but it goes with their reload scheme instead.) Of course, this is just spitting hairs about a budget zombie DS game, so no big deal, just an observation.
