Mario meets Halo in fan-made hack

We always hoped that if Mario met any of the characters from the Halo-verse, they would sit down and discuss the ins and outs of the video game industry over some tea and crumpets. Alas, that was not meant to be, as this hack shows us. Instead, we presume that the Covenant has kidnapped the princess and Mario must go off to rescue her. Still, if Mario is fighting Halo baddies, doesn't that mean he and Master Chief are allies?
Also of note in this hack is that it uses elements from almost every Mario platformer. We could have done without the Grunts' sound effects, though.

I've seen the Super Mario Bros movie, and I know Mario can handle shoulder fired weaponry. If he can kick Dennis Hoppers ass, he can surely take on the Covenant. The real question is can the Master Chief handle Mushrooms and Turtles without a gun?

This isn't a hack, it's a fucking horrible fan-made game. A hack would mean there's an original game upon which this one is built, and I believe this isn't the case at all.

It does look horrible and slow paced. That is not what either series is about.

I'm actually somewhat excited about this. I'm a fan of both franchises and as silly as it is, looks like it would be a lot of fun.

ok to be perfectly honest Halo Zero is not that good. and when has there EVER been a mario game where you can be fireball or racoon mario. and pick up plants?!?!?! and the sprites may be from Halo Zero. this Partial birth abortion is a dissapointment.

With the usage of the e-Reader cards, you could enable veggies to pop-up in the levels. You could also add the Cape Feather to the game, too.

I had an e-Reader. It was pretty cool, in my opinion. I awaited for the SMB3-e and the G&W-e cards, but they were never released. :/

This is a game made from scratch with GameMaker, Faggots
