If you need a DS Lite adapter, today's the day to get one

Since the official DS Lite AC Adapter is a much better way to go about charging your DS than the crank we showed you earlier today, we thought we'd let you know that this accessory happens to be Amazon's video game related "Deal of the Day."We assume that this is a useless deal for most of you, since DS Lites come with one, but we're sure some of you have either misplaced yours or want an extra for traveling. Still, be careful; while the adapter is marked off by $5 (meaning that it only costs $10), you'll have to pay for shipping unless you're a Prime member or find $15 worth of other merchandise to add to your cart. Without the free shipping, this really isn't much of a deal at all.

Meh, got a Madcatz pack at Radio Shack on Black Friday that had a wall charger *and* a car charger with universal plugs (DSL, DSPhat, PSP, GBA, and, uh, something else?) for like 10 bucks. I think even when it's not on sale it's a better deal than this.

Some people don't like plugging in 3rd party accessories to their gear though, like me. Sometimes I envy folk like you, since you probably save a killing on accessories.

I have an extra charger for my boyfriend's house and and extra one that lives at my desk at work. :D I like being fully-charged.

Unfortunately it was only a one-day deal so it's not on sale at Amazon anymore :(. According to our readers above, though, you can get them for cheap at Walmart :).

LOL you guys still use wall warts to charge your DS? Do yourself a favor and pick up a DS->USB pack. I think I got mine at Best Buy for like $15. Came with a DS USB cable, an adapter for PSP I think, some crappy headphones I threw away and the best part: a USB->Car cigarette lighter adapter. That alone was worth the price of admission. I don't think I even know where my wall wart is anymore as the Bus covers all of my charging needs.
