Wii prototype auction is disappointing

eBay seller funky_fruits put one of the rarest items we've ever seen on eBay: a one-of-a-kind Wii prototype system, complete with pre-production controller. Produced well in advance of the final system's design, this item features unique properties like "Sensor Bar port for detection of anyone coming within 5m of Nintendo Wii™ prototype - automatically vaporises intruders," "Accessory port on bottom of Wii Remote which can also control your TV and VCR," and "Wireless Free."

How could we possibly be disappointed by an item that is so powerful that "Everything is just shoved into memory because there is so much of it - blinking fast"? Because the auction has been ended early by the seller. Nintendo must have gotten to him and threatened to vaporize him like they did the 10 scientists who originally created the system while living in a deserted Japanese airfield.

Well I didn't realize it was a Sega Dreamcast and prototypes don't look fancy and stuff. It's just a rough design.

Hahahahahahah. Now Nintendo just has to add Virtual Console support for the Saturn and we get potential access to the entirety of Sega's game library. :)

That isnt a wii prototype. Its clearly a sideways dreamcast and the wiimote is actually a tv remote.

The wii logo is written on a piece of paper thats taped to the dreamcast.

How do you explain the remote controller? You can't control a Dreamcast with a remote!

That doesn't actually control it. It's just a TV Remote put their to look more real.

On a side note, I loved my Dreamcast and was very upset when production of games stopped.

ha ha, thats funny, whose the idiot who would buy that? seriously, if you thought it was a prototype, then you're gaming impaired, so you wouldn't want it anyway. sorry FAIL , no one will buy this, like no one is buying the wii's on ebay for a freaking million. but i am sadened by this, i thought it was an original playstation at first.

When I saw this I started laughing so much, aww, this dreamc..ehh I mean Wii prototype really brings back good memory's from a previous era,... because it looks so similar to something. Its obviously a late beta model thou, little rough around the edges but it could sell just like that really well I think, shouldn't it be called revolution or something?
