Wii casemod makes a quick stop into our hearts
Ramon Stokes is clearly the go-to person when it comes to prettying up the Wii. First, there was this Zelda mod, then this Metroid mod, and after that this really great Rockstar mod. Now, he's at it again, this time with a Wii mod commissioned for Kevin Smith himself.
As you can see, the casemod features the four main Clerks characters on the front. The back has a View Askew insignia, and the Nunchucks are labeled "Kevin Smith" and "Silent Bob" (though we're not sure how Smith would manage to play as himself and his movie persona at the same time).
This beauty was commissioned as a Christmas gift for Kevin Smith, and took about 60 hours to make. Well done, Ramon; you manage to impress us time and time again.
More pictures of this mod can be seen after the jump!

Very nice case mod, I would mind having something like this for myself actually.

Hahaha, thanks :)

That has to be one of the most random case mods I've seen. It's well done and all, but when seeing mods that have nothing to do with gaming I can't help but wonder...why?
Hafk @ Dec 29th 2007 8:39PM
Remember, this was made for Kevin Smith, the guy who made Clerks.
I think it fits perfectly.

Hafk,
To me, that reason makes even less sense. I could sort of understand it if it were just a rabid fan's, but giving it to the man himself? "Hey, remember that cartoon about that movie that you made? Now it's immortalized on something totally unrelated but also fun!"
TurboFool @ Dec 31st 2007 12:14PM
I think you're still not getting it. This wasn't made by him randomly as some gift for Kevin Smith, it was COMMISSIONED for him. That means specifically requested and paid for by, or on behalf of, Kevin Smith. This guy didn't just wake up one day and say "I'm going to spend 60 hours making a Wii casemod as a gift for my favorite director." He got a phone call or e-mail from Kevin Smith or one of his associates REQUESTING that he do this in exchange for MONETARY COMPENSATION.
Now does it seem logical?

Naw you got the hate flowing in reverse there. It should be HIS nose bleeding. Hey, maybe if we all hate him enough his head will explode
JKAntwon @ Dec 30th 2007 9:19AM
Wow seems to me the hate is flowing right. I Like the mod, (no hate here) the only thing that would be better is an Indiana Jones Mod!
