WRUP: Say goodbye to 2007 edition

Well, this is the last weekend of 2007 and the last WRUP for this year, as well. And, sure enough, there isn't a single new release to discuss for the final WRUP of 2007. So, that means you'll have to resort to your gifts from the holiday to get you through this weekend, that is unless you have already gone through all of them. Knowing our readers and their enthusiasm, that is entirely likely. But, no need to fear, a few of you will be getting a truckload of new games to enjoy soon enough.

So, what will you be playing during the last weekend of 2007?

I'm still playing through Puzzle Quest and I got Touchmaster and LEGO Star Wars Complete for Christmas. I'm just barely restraining myself from buying Trials and Tribulations. I really need to pace myself and get back to studying. :/

Just broke open Phantom Hourglass yesterday to loosen the grip that Puzzle Quest (damn that game is long) has on me. I'm about two hours into Zelda and I'm really enjoying it a lot. It is shaping up to be my favorite Zelda since A Link To The Past. I'm just not a big fan of Zelda in 3D.

Contra 4, got it for Christmas form my brother-in-law. It looks like I'll be playing it well into 2008 too, cause its kick my tail. Great fun though. For me it's a toss up between Contra 4 and Phantom Hourglass for DS GOTY.

I made out like a bandit this Christmas netting myself Gemoetry Wars, Dementium and Konami Arcade Hits. Needless to say, I shall be pretty busy for awhile.

Oh, Santy Clawrs also gave me a certain "naughty device." Apparently, he endorses yarring. All I'm saying is that I played Earthbound at the laundromat the other day, I'm astonished by how perfect my life has become.
