Codemasters reveals exclusive Wii game

In a place called Crisis City, you'd imagine there is plenty of people in need. And, there is, as it's up to you to help these fine folk in Codemasters' upcoming Wii-exclusive Emergency Mayhem (wasn't this supposed to be an Xbox game back in the day?). As you can see in the trailer above, there's enough variety in the way you're helping these people to keep things fresh, so we're looking forward to that. And, is it just us or do the driving segments really remind you of Crazy Taxi?

-Yea, look for that question to be asked many times over in the next 4-5 years concerning 3rd party titles coming to the Wii.

According to Nintendo Power, Emergency Mayhem is being made by the same people/development team/whatever as Crazy Taxi, and (oy vey) it was supposed to be released back in September, all of this according to a Nintendo Power issue I have from last Spring (I have a life, I'm not looking up the specific issue). I read this a while back, however, so I'm not staking my reputation, or the lives of baby narwhals, on this. Things can change.
More delays on the Wii :nonplussed: I love mine, it just gets so annoying.
Nevertheless, I'm anxious about the release of this game. If it doesn't suck, it's right up my alley.

Not that I'd hold you personally responsible for this, but is it the same team - or just same programming house. Like are the same ppl working there still?
Not that it matters. Hopefully its fun. It looks entertaining :D

Honestly, MemphisNET, I'm not sure. I just remember reading a short blurb on it in that issue. Some of the people or the company involved with Crazy Taxi are responsible for the production of this game, hence why it looks so similar. What group is the constant between the two? I'm not sure. It was so long ago. Hence why I put "people/development team/whatever." I suppose I could've thrown in "programming house," too.

Not wishing to be negative but Codemasters haven't produced a good game in like, a real long time.
Or maybe I haven't been concentrating.
Well, I'm sure they haven't produced nothing as good as their greatest accomplishment: Micro Maniacs.

Oh Yeah! Another mini game Wii game! Oh how those want me to chuck out $50 bucks! Come on... use the wiimote for more interesting games.

Looks great! Codemasters is pretty good, I love "Dirt" and Crazy Taxi is one of THE best games ever created! Can't wait to play this but hopefully it starts at like $30
