Show and Tell: My entire house, let me show you it
Well, it may not be the entire house, but reader Chris B. has enough quirky gaming gear to fill a house, that's for sure. When readers send in pictures of their enormous collections, we just can't resist showing them off, and this one is definitely worth an ogle. We've loaded up a gallery with a selection of his gear, but he also has a Flickr account showcasing much, much more. Head on over, but take a rag and mind the drool.
Got something that makes you particularly proud? We like thingamabobs and doohickeys and swag of all sorts, as well as food and furniture and anything fun ... so long as it's related to Nintendo! Just take some pictures, tell us what's up, and send it all to showmeit [at] dsfanboy [dot] com. We'll take care of the rest.

I bet this guy would trade it all for a real live girl in his bedroom.
The PC @ Dec 13th 2007 4:29PM
The story is written by a girl... haha
Saffie @ Dec 13th 2007 3:50PM
Great collection.
*steals all the Zelda merchandise*
Brello @ Dec 13th 2007 3:53PM
Anything beyond games is lost on me.
Paradox @ Dec 13th 2007 4:11PM
Thanks for showing off my stuff :) I have a bit more (As always) now because of the release of Phantom Hourglass (Feather Stylus, Gold DS, DS Skins, etc) and a few Collectors Edition games (Assassins Creed, Mass Effect).
And yes, I probably would trade it all for a girl :P One in paticular...
Matdredalia @ Dec 13th 2007 8:45PM
Take it from a girl:
Girls are not worth fanswag. I promise you.
Ladies come and go, but gamer gear is forever. (Though I can't say much, I keep "losing" gaming stuff to my husband...)
Alisha Karabinus @ Dec 13th 2007 11:00PM
Husband taking your gaming stuff? I recommend beatings. It works with mine!
GoldenPie @ Dec 14th 2007 10:47AM
I can't read and thought it was all Alisha's stuff. Oops. ^_^;
So my other comment should've been directed at you then. :)
GoldenPie @ Dec 13th 2007 5:03PM
Amazing collection, Alisha. I'm pretty jealous. One thing though, where did you get that awesome Metroid wallpaper? :)
Alisha Karabinus @ Dec 13th 2007 11:00PM
Ask the owner! That would be the Paradox fellow there. :)
Matdredalia @ Dec 13th 2007 8:43PM
Chris B is a murderer, a cannibal, a Nazi, a liar, and an Un-American LEMMING! He butchered Rudolph, stole George Bush's smirk, and, this is the worst crime of all....DIDN'T WIPE HIS FEET BEFORE ENTERING SANTA'S WORKSHOP!!!
He shall be sentenced to death immediately....
Oh, look, he left his entire estate to me in this poorly doctored will...
*takes Chris's stuff and runs like hell*
Seriously, though, great collection Chris. I can't even imagine how long it's taken to collect that stuff.
MidnightScott @ Dec 13th 2007 9:27PM
I have 45 DS games at the moment, just got Phoenix Wright 3 the other day and finished it today(its not in the pic cuz I took the pic a while ago). Anyway, here is a picture of the 44 DS games I have, plus a GBA & GB game boxes.

That collection is amazing Paradox. I would love to build my collection and make it a little more robust, but my soon to be wife seems to have a problem with that.
Wait... you said you'd trade it all for a woman. Hmmmmmm, let's make a deal. ;P
Seriously, cool stuff man.
Brittany @ Dec 14th 2007 1:47AM
I think together, me and my boyfriends games take up two entire book shelves (but moving soon so stuff is everywhere, I'll try and remember to take a pic when everything is reassembled though)...that is, it's legal to count all my NES, SNES, 64.. etc games too
(I don't have my Atari games out anymore because mine stopped working :( )
Paradox @ Dec 14th 2007 2:18AM
They probably arn't worth the fanswag, I know. I'll just have to win her over the old fashioned way.
My Metroid poster came with a Nintendo Power issue (Don't ask the #, I wouldnt know where to start looking), and I had is signed by Tommy Tallarico, the games audio designer and host of Video Games Live, and Reviews on the Run.
I've been collecting since, I'd say 4 years now at tops. My Zelda stuff I kept from when I was little, but now I go out of my way to buy things.
HOWEVER, within 2 years I will probably be selling my collection as a complete set. Well, sides from the Zelda stuff. Don't ask why, but it's for personal reasons. Things might change by that time, but I'm pretty sure I'll be letting it go.
Dio @ Dec 15th 2007 6:53PM
Do you remember which issue of NP had the Ocarina of Time poster? I think it was around the time Mario was on the spine.
Also, did you get the special editions of the N64 Zeldas? I only managed Majora's Mask that way, but I had to sell all of my N64 stuff a while back :< If only the box wasn't ruined by a particular asshole where I used to live, I might have kept it.
sergioalb64 @ Dec 14th 2007 3:27AM
Cool stuff; I have a lot of it, actually; funny coincidence :)
Unfortunately, most of my game stuff is in bags; at least it's away from dust.
