Why in Zeus's name would you need a Plush Wii Guitar Hero Guitar? What use would anybody have for this? Is there really a demand for such a product?

For the same reason as anyone NEEDS a plush anything, or Guitar Hero, or a Wii. Nobody needs it. People want it, because it's enjoyable.

Which leads me to my next question... how is it enjoyable? I don't mean to sound rude, I just really don't understand what enjoyment people get out of such an item. Why not spend their money on something more useful, like a game or a Dragonforce CD... or a 200 lb chocolate bar?
