No More Heroes intro turns us into wannabe assassins
No More Heroes may be too hard (for wusses), but if you think that means we're going to stop our blatantly ridiculous amount of coverage for this game, you're wrong. In fact, after hearing about the difficulty (even if it was a fake translation), we're more pumped than ever.
Our latest update brings you the game's English intro, according to Gametrailers. We love how the game completely demolishes the fourth wall, although some people may find that irritating. Also of note is Travis Touchdown whistling the NMH theme at the beginning.
Caveat: We at NWF are rating this trailer NSFW due to cursing, violence, and Sylvia in skimpy outfits.

Wii would indeed like to play. I hear the Wii is good for old folks to get up off the couch and play. Has anyone been beat by grandma or grandpa, yet.

umm, will we have the choice to hear japanese audio with english subtitles in the game? that would rock! seriously, english voice acting sucks.
Mr Khan @ Dec 1st 2007 3:57PM
Near as i can tell there isn't any Japanese audio in the Japanese version
They'll just get subbies, we in Anglo America won't
hvnlysoldr @ Dec 1st 2007 4:29PM
That's similar to Sin & Punishment then.
idioteraser @ Dec 1st 2007 8:16PM
Uh the entire game spoken dialog is done in English. Just like Killer 7 although in the Japanese version the ghosties spoke a sort of Engrish.

heh heh
I like the broken 4th wall at the end

NMH Theme? Wot that? But anyways, I really really want this game.
Candace Savino @ Dec 1st 2007 4:20PM
I meant that he's whistling the No More Heroes' theme :)

Yeah, I realized the acronym like, 5 seconds after I posted.

Looking really great, especially for the Wii! :D Can't wait!
Cozmo @ Dec 1st 2007 4:53PM
If the game plays half as good as it is stylin', it's going to be the best M-rated game on the system.
Croove55 @ Dec 1st 2007 7:22PM
Dude, yes. That intro definitely had Suda 51's bizarre style. MAN, I can't wait to get this game.
troy @ Dec 1st 2007 10:04PM
Hell ya, that really did look awesome, unique, and hardcore.
Jeremy @ Dec 1st 2007 11:16PM
Ah another game added to my must buy list. If this list gets any bigger then I will have enough to play all next year just from this years titles. I really need more free time to play these games.
Waffala @ Dec 2nd 2007 11:31AM
After that I'm definitely sold on this game, those 3 second long video clips from before made me kind of doubtful, why couldn't they show enough to give you a good feel of the game, but that much style in the intro is awesome enough to push me over the fence.
Kinda.Odd @ Dec 2nd 2007 7:25PM
Agreed with Waffala. Same happens to me when I see a real good movie trailer. When games play a trailer in sort of a movie style, I'm sold even better. I haven't been reading up on this game cause I figured I'd get it anyway, but now.. Man.. February's not close enough. :/

Rising Star games will release the censored version of this game in Europe - with no blood or decapitations. Please sign this petition http://www.petitiononline.com/nmh3r03s/petition.html if only to stand up against future censership of good games. Every sig counts even if you think it is pointless - there's nothing to lose!
