Though the official European Nintendo site still seems to be down, the Virtual Console is working overtime to bring you games you may not have heard of at high prices. Ain't life grand? It is if you happen to be into more obscure games, and even the "pricey" ones really aren't.- Baseball Stars 2 -- Neo Geo -- 900 Wii points

What? You've never heard of the greatest baseball game of all time, Baseball Stars. While I didn't have a Neo-Geo and thus never had the pleasure of playing Baseball Stars 2, the amount of time I spent playing the original Baseball Stars for the NES easily beats the total amount of time I spent playing all other sports games combined.

Seems a bit odd to release an apparently popular Baseball title over here instead of in America. They should've released Sensible Soccer or something. Now that'd sell over here.

I agree that Baseball Stars on the NES was a great game. Definitely logged a ton of hours into that game as a child. Like many people, though, I never played the Neo Geo version. I remember an arcade version of it that was pretty fun until I ran out of quarters.
