Now this is an awesome control scheme
Sure, it's just a Wiimote taped to the back of a child's toy, but this is one hell of an awesome way to enjoy playing a Wii game. It's perfect for a racing title and just about the most heart-warming thing we've seen in quite some time. It makes us wonder what other cool things people can come up with (aside from helmets).
[Thanks, Tom!]

What's the laptop doing?

I was wondering the same thing. Assumptions? 1) Playing a video on the TV, thus making this a hoax. 2) Recording a direct-feed (unlikely considering it's a laptop and the video isn't of a direct-feed but rather a kid on a horse). 3) Running a computer version of NFS (or whatever racing game that is), to which the Wiimote has been modded/hacked for functionality.
Heck if I know which is right, but it does look fishy sitting there next to the TV. Still, if it's true, it certainly is interesting.

It’s like having an arcade at your home; do you have any good ideas for other pc games?
hvnlysoldr @ Nov 29th 2007 12:20AM
NWF has a whole column called Revolutionary to discuss all the PC games that are being modded to play with the Wiimote.

That's Need for Speed: Most Wanted and since it's not out for the Wii he made a custom control scheme to the PC game. Nevertheless this looks like so much fun. Wish I had one of thos horse thingies, I'd buy Need for Speed right away.

That's need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2. It was made in 2002 for the Gamecube, so no idea how he's playing it with a Wiimote. I know that its NFS 2 because I recently played that exact same level.

Oh sorry didn't see the comment above. but I could swear that course was from NFS 2 unless they recycle theirs...
