DIY: Big Wiimote cabinet
We love it when gamers roll up their sleeves and make some awesome stuff. Take this cabinet shaped like a Wiimote, for example. It's not only a great homage to the best controller device ever created, it's actually functional. We've tucked the other pictures of the cabinet past the break, so be sure to hit them up.

The - button should've been the handle. Oh well, it's totally awesome anyway. Though I did think from the headline that it was a Wiimote storage cabinet.

looking the the top pic, are you sure it isn't just the TV that is really small?
Croove55 @ Nov 27th 2007 7:42AM
Look at the right side of the top picture. You can see a Wii (sii a wii, get it?...sorry) sitting next to the TV, and I think that gives everything perspective.

That TV is obviously big, look at it's proportions with the Wii, not that the Wii is big, but use your imagination and you'll see what i mean

Wow, that's sad. It's bad enough to connect a console to an EDTV or HDTV using composite cables; this guy even uses the connections on the front of the set.

It's nice to see the black bars around the edges of the Wii menu on that HDTV screen. I thought my 32" Olevia was the only one that did that. Man its annoying though how the Wii doesn't just fill out to the VERY EDGES of the screen...

sigh... cabinet is fine, but I wants the TV. I need to put my 32" tube out to the graveyard!

Fellas,
Thanks for all the kind words about my Wii cabinet. FYI... My t.v is an RCA 52" DLP t.v. I do have COMPONENT cables for my Wii. And it looks p-r-e-t-t-y. :) Playing RE4 on a 52" screen with the lights out is pretty creepy! :O Also, those composite cables on the front of the t.v. are for my PS2. Which is now gathering dust ever since I got my Wii last February.
