Mario: This time he's rated M for murder
We can't decide whether this X-Play short is funny or disturbing. Satire is all well and good, but when it's turns someone that we love even more than the Canadian Prime Minister into a serial killer, it's just a little hard to swallow.

I find it both funny and disturbing that X-Play puts more time into their goofy little shorts (pun) than actually reviewing games

Nicely timed, considering most people who preordered Galaxy from Gamestop have gotten a voicemail telling us it was rated Mature and we had to be 17 to pick it up.

LOL Nice!

Looks much better than Mario's first live action movie!

To Raindog:
I received that message too. I think there are just so many m-rated games out these days they keep it as part of the message by default.
Also, Gamestop is already posting signs about trading in the game, not unlike they pressed with Zelda TP, only much sooner X.X

If you're too pussy to decide, then let me do it for you: It's lame.

It came from G4, it sucks, get over it. I'm sick of that station, they're killing themselves over there. On top of that, X-Play has to be the worst of their pitiful line of programs. Cheat is probably the only cool thing still on there save scattered episodes of Star Trek and Heroes (which they are a week behind on so it hardly matters).

Hehe, yeah I got the "M for Mature" call from GameStop for my Mario Galaxy preorder as well. I thought "hmm, they really are cutting off a large target audience with this rating here. I guess since Nintendo is minting its own money now they don't really need to worry about that." Then I thought how sweet an M-rated Mario game might actually be...

I got the call from Gamestop as well telling me about a Mature rated Mario. I couldn't stop laughing, as I already had the game in my hand when it told me I could pick it up the next day, and I never got my call for Assassin's Creed.

Good concept, badly done.
