For every positive comment on the WFB site, there seems to be around 5 nay-sayers.
This is one of them.
Well, not really.
Anyway, I'd get one, but only if they release Duck Hunt. Besides, I'm pretty accurate with just holding the Wii Remote. I don't feel like I need a full on zapper attachment thingy. I don't plan on getting one this week. My gold mine is in reserve mode, depending on impending Christmas gifts.

I'm picking it up, but it won't get opened until Xmas. I have too wait until my wife gives it to me.

Woo! Preordered it today! Also ordered RE:UC, Wii Charging Dock, Smarty Pants, another Nunchuck, and have a copy of SMG on the way (along with the special pre-order coin). I'm friggin' excited!

I still wonder if I really want to buy this just for the Crossbow training. It be nice to have another dongle for the Wii, even if it might be useless.

Ill be picking it up soon hopefully. Mostly for the bundled Zelda game. I figure I can hold the Wiimote steady enough to catch megastrikes in MSC I can hold it steady enough to Headshot 12 year olds in MoH2 :)

Does anyone know if the nun-chuck part (the back bit) comes off so the zapper becomes a phaser like thingy - just wondering thats all.
Perrysburgguy @ Nov 13th 2007 6:25PM
Why is this piece of plastic necessary? It's just a shelf for two existing components.
Why is anybody excited?
Rudy @ Nov 13th 2007 8:09PM
It's uniquely Wii, that should be a good enough reason to be excited about.
flameofdoom666 @ Nov 13th 2007 8:28PM
Im excited for the crossbow training!
JKAntwon @ Nov 13th 2007 8:31PM
I mainly want the game.

Hey all,
Granted this is just a shelf for the remote and the nunchuck, but its nice having them in-line with each other -- it makes it more natural to aim around the screen...
Later,
Matt!

I have no desire to pick it up. The zapper looks ridiculous. It's just a piece of plastic that holds the wiimote. There's no "pizazz" in it. The light zapper and the gun for the PS2 are the best I've seen.
ricosuave413 @ Nov 13th 2007 10:40PM
whatever happening to the sleek and sexy packaging that the console came in?? no baby blue cardboard pullouts??
Sonic_13 @ Nov 14th 2007 12:30AM
I am excited about this and looking forward to getting it.
I just have to decided though whether I will pick this up myself or ask for it as a Christmas gift. I'm leaning towards the latter.
ashylarry @ Nov 14th 2007 2:38AM
I'll buy it to add the game to my Zelda collection but the Zapper itself is ultra-lame.
egotrippen @ Nov 14th 2007 2:48AM
Honestly, it looks pretty uncomfortable. I was much more interested in the Zapper prototype they had waaay back, shaped more like the NES light gun but with a slot for the wiimote in the barrel. Not a fan of the submachinegun design.

Nintendo, I love this but please spring the extra buck and package it in a full DVD case!
mconroy7000 @ Nov 14th 2007 9:28PM
Alex, I'm with you -- I like to proudly display my Wii games, and it's hard to display a cardboard sleeve ...
teddy_kgb75 @ Nov 14th 2007 12:12PM
wow. i am spending sooooooooo much $$$ on myself this holiday season.
i'll use the zapper. i'm not proud.
Kurifurisan @ Nov 15th 2007 2:19AM
I'm excited to get the bundled Link game. That and a chance to create another Wii game case like I did for my WiiSports game.
