DS releases for the week of November 12th

Hmm, with all the games out this week, it seems like there should be something that really gets our hearts pumping. Maybe it's WordJong. After all, we liked it, but nah, that's not really an incomparable thrill ride. Cooking Mama 2? Just doesn't seem like it. We can cross off Baby Pals and all the Petz and Horsez games, too. It's right there, on the tip of the tongue ... what could it be?

Contra 4 is this week? Crap. I already have 5 Wii games to buy this week.
I may have to sacrifice one of those, in order to give the DS some love.

I had the same reaction as #1. There's a few good Wii games coming out this week. And now I find out Contra 4 and Orcs & Elves DS come out this week! I love and hate the holidays at the same time (I'd love 'em more if I had more time)

Last week's releases left me scratching my head, wondering when quantity trumped quality. I see this week makes up for it. Contra, Orcs & Elves, and Mortal Kombat? Consider me glued to Metacritic for the next two weeks. God I hope these games get well-reviewed.

Good week for the DS. Nothing like an easy and relaxing game like Contra to spend the holyday. Wait, I said easy and relaxing? I meant hard and unrelenting in a way that will have you look up to the sky and say: "Why Lord, why can't I beat stage 1?". It's hard as hell, and I love it.
I also would like to check some of the Japan released games. There's a game inspired in a tv show where a guy plays hard games, and a game that comes with a bottle of wine.

Is it just me, or did Contra 4 get through the development cycle WAAAAAY faster than most games? Seems like I just heard rumors about it two or three months ago, and now it's already released!
