Check Mii Out (sorta) borks Mii sharing
Users who've downloaded Miis from the Check Mii Out Channel will likely run into the same bug detailed in the video embedded above -- any attempts to send a Mii out to one of your friends will be stymied by the system's insistence in listing Nintendo as the receiver. We're pretty sure that Nintendo doesn't want all those Star Wars-themed Miis you've accumulated!
We tried this out ourselves, and we found that while Nintendo is listed as the recipient, your friend should still receive your Mii package. Also, exiting and reentering the Mii Channel fixes the glitch, blocking Nintendo out of the transfer. Looks like there's no need to draft any angry letters or petitions about how Nintendo is taking away your God-given right to harass your friends with Greedo Miis! Expect Nintendo to fix this minor bug up with a future firmware update.

Another bug: I had my Wii sent in for the "snow" issue. Now, because of this the Wii sees all of my Mii's as having been sent to me (seemingly done during the repair) and cannot be used as the Artisan Mii.

Has anyone ever heard of editing these videos? Why is it 6+ minutes long? Why do we have to watch this person zoom in and out on the Mii 12 times before showing the bug?
Ugh.

Yeah, I took this video and there's a reason for all of that..... This was the first time I saw the Check Mii Out Channel and the first time I exited.... Originally the glitch did cause Miis to be sent to Nintendo's servers, but they quickly fixed it so even though they come up, it still gets sent to your friend.
Now the reason the video isn't edited is, I wanted to get my video to be one of the first to show this problem so that way I could get more channel views. Also by editing the video, it would have decreased in quality believe or not. So, I'm sorry about that, but I don't regret being so fast to post it as my YouTube Channel has gotten over 20 more subscribers since I posted it. XD

well i know it's kind of a hassle and inconvenience but what's to stop you guys from trying to make those Miis again? i mean you may not get it exactly since you obviously can't get into the editor with the respective Mii's but it'd be better than nothing.
also, im not familiar with the "snow" issue. could somebody explain what this is exactly. haven't had any problems with my Wii besides it locking up alot when i first got at launch. updates fixed that though.

Who ever made this video is an ass and i want the 6 or so minutes of my life it just wasted back. Edit it and overlay some text rather than typing crap out that takes forever in a memo i hope someone told him that there was a firmware update that allows the use of a keyboard lol.
