DS Daily: Filling out the GBA collection

With the possibility of cheaper Game Boy Advance games tempting us, we are considering a trip down to the local GameStop to blow some cash. There are plenty of GBA games we never picked up but would like to, including ... well, a bunch of stuff. Embarrassingly, we never got the Mario Advance games (because we have multiple versions of all the Mario games already). We'd definitely consider those at the right price, for portability alone. We'd also be likely to buy every copy of River City Ransom EX we saw and distribute them to anyone nearby, possibly by throwing them from a parade float. What about you? What does your collection need? Are there any GBA games you want, but have yet to get? If so, are you planning on checking out the (potentially) newly-price-dropped stock?

I have a hearty collection already and I doubt there are many more GBA games to get. Yet, I haven't played any of the advance wars games, but have always wanted to...
And then there's Boktai 3 and Mother 3. But those probably won't come over here.

i've been meening to pick up the Sonic Advanced series. and I would suggest that anyone who does have it yet go out and find a copy of Super Gunstar Heros.

I was thinking of getting that new Spyro game, but since I'm giving away my GBA SP for Christmas, I hesitate. Although the DS can play GBA games, the button arrangement is hopelessly awkward and not made for human hands. Anybody who's tried to play GBA Super Mario World on the DS knows what I mean.

I keep meaning to pick up Super Mario Advance,
the SMB2 remake.
Oh, by the way, the Phantasy Star you want to play is number 4, and it's unfortunately not on the GBA collection...

Mother 3 is worth getting, even in Japanese.
Also, I'd get WarioWare: Twisted
and The Astro Boy game.

I might see if I can get a good price on SMA4 (the Mario 3 remake) and Drill Dozer (fun action game made by GameFreak, the Pokemon developers).

I just ordered Tales of the World: Narikiri Dungeon 2 and 3. Next, probably going to pick up Pokemon LeafGreen/FireRed, just so I can get generation I pokemon.

i doubt youll find them in your local gamestop, but the bit generations titles are well worth a look and are usually cheap as hell on play asia. soundvoyager.orbital and dotstream ftw

I've found a lot of games that I can get online are about 1/3rd to 1/2 the price... I plan on snapping up a LOT. Lots more left. I've already gotten a few, and beaten the best of them.

Heh, I just bought another SP for use as a GC controller -- 15 bucks including FFIV, SMB3, and SMW. SCORE!

I was wooed by the PS collection game in the article. Man would I love to sink my teeth into that. Riviera would go down nicely too.
