Konami hopping on the ported shooter bandwagon?
It looks like we aren't the only people who have been paying attention to Ghost Squad. Konami has decided to dust off an old arcade light-gun game for the Wii, as well. But rather than pulling one of their own games like Lethal Enforcers out of their back catalogue, they appear to have opted for Raw Thrills's 2004 arcade shooter Target: Terror. That's according to a new Gamefly listing-- which, of course, could be mistaken, or could refer to a completely new shooting game called Target Terror. Target: Terror is a full-motion video shooting game in which, like in Ghost Squad, the player shoots a bunch of terrorists. Unlike Ghost Squad, the game features real-world locations and ... let's say emotionally charged situations, including a scenario in which the player must stop a hijacked plane from crashing into the White House.
We hope this turns out to be a different game.

I dunno... it sounds like it could be one of those so bad its good kind of games. What real red-blooded American wouldn't like to shoot some evil-doing terrorists in a 9/11 simulator?

Hmm, they should just port over Silent Scope. That would work well on the wii.

They should port Doom3.
Since my hopes for MP3:C be a good shooter were ruthlessly crushed by Nintendo and its fanboys, I urgently need something new to shoot.
This is sad state of affairs: for the console with so potential controls to have no shooter games. End of first year is looming and game-wise Wii still stinks.

Ahh, the Nintendo Wii and it's unrelenting persuit for more Shovelware....
Quick Quick, we need BRATZ PATRY!!! At least all you fanboys are right. Wii best selling console, cheaper development costs... More games.

The real redeeming quality of this game is that when you shoot someone in the junk, they act like they got shot in the junk. And any game that does that my friends, is gold. However that feature probably will stay in the arcade, due to the Wii's family friendliness, but they did put scantily-clad mode into Ghost Squad so I guess anything's possible.
