Wii releases for the week of October 29th [update]

We've got several new games hitting the Wii this week, including two titles we've been anxious to get our hands on. In fact, this week has something for everyone, with some titles that will appeal to the whole family, a title for the older crowd and a sequel to a GameCube game that wasn't given the love it deserved.
Without further ado, let's check out the releases:
- Battalion Wars 2
- Manhunt 2
- Barbie Island Princess
- Bee Movie
- Ben 10
- Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey
- High School Musical: Sing it!
- The Simpsons Game
- Guitar Hero III

Waiting for next month.
And no, I don't want free games, ringtones, downloads, or any other spam. If I wanted a commercial, I would have turned on the TV. Thanks, but no thanks Collin.

I just want Comment #1 to know that I went to PR by typing the URL in manually without the ref code, and signed up.

Collin @ Oct 29th 2007 11:07AM
To Chris: Kudos to you and your amazing skills!!! Truly you ar a force to be reckoned with.
To Zack: No one is putting a gun to your head. Do what you want, that is the great thing about free will.
I have gotten a couple of free games from Prize Rebel, figured others may want to do the same and I get a small amount of points if you sign up under my link. Not hard to do, only take a little time.

So no one else going to run out and get manhunt II, turn off the lights, and play it late at night in honor of Halloween?
BrotherJon77 @ Oct 29th 2007 12:13PM
Um, Guitar Hero 3? How could you forget! The Wii is the only system I've got, and I've been waiting so patiently for GH3. Now I can rock out! Gimme more GH3 news, please!

Chris @ Oct 29th 2007 12:58PM
GHIII was not on the list of games being released last week , and it is not on the list this week... yet it was released on Sunday. Darn you WiiFanBoy!!! A deafening silence, even though there were midnight releases all over the country!!
It rocks by the way... go get it!! And it is online enabled. In fact, you need to co-op, which you can do online, to unlock certain songs.
Brendon @ Oct 29th 2007 1:04PM
What, no Mercury Meltdown?
Ben @ Oct 29th 2007 2:23PM
Wow, the first week with two Wi-Fi Connected games released ever for the Wii! This should get its own post!
Geer @ Oct 29th 2007 2:28PM
Locally here in Canada, for some reason, the stores didn't get their shipments of GH3 for the Wii and PS3 for Sunday. They just got the PS2 and 360 versions, and some stores just got the game for the 360, not the bundle with the guitar. So, no GH3 for me yet. This happen to anyone else?
vidGuy @ Oct 29th 2007 3:19PM
I'll be playing Z&W and GH3 (360 version). I wish I had the money for BWii, but I'll just get it for Christmas. And Manhunt2 when from a release date buy to a maybe-rent for me when they edited it.
Larz @ Oct 29th 2007 5:53PM
BWii sounds interesting...
Can anyone tell me what makes BWii good? From the videos it just looked like running around and shooting with no real point. Is there some kind of strategy element involved or great story or something?
On a side note, pointing with the Wiimote to aim is such a great step up for console shooters.
Dannyboi68 @ Oct 29th 2007 5:54PM
BWii
Manhunt 2
NFS: ProStreet (this is on Wii right?)

After playing Guitar Hero III on my Wii for about 12 hours straight yesterday, this post makes me extremely angry.
Guitar Hero III is CRUCIAL for Nintendo Wi-Fi. And so far, Guitar Hero plays well on it and I spend most of my time online.
