Oops, I accidentally pre-ordered Ed, Ed and Eddy instead of Phoenix Wright!

You know a 20 year old franchise has gone downhill when a new release (Mega Man ZX Advent) gets trumped by a three-game-old franchise (Ace Attorney). Poor Rockman...

No love for ZX: Advent? Come on. The first game was a great romp save for the asinine map system.

Front Mission's out this week!! *happy dance*
Oh... and there's another Ace Attorney game coming out as well? Hmm... I *guess* I can pick that one up too; Nick's adventures being somewhat entertaining and all ;D

It's gonna be Capcom week for me. I'm getting Phoenix Wright and Megaman ZX on the same day. Frankly, people should stay quiet about how horrible the Mega Man series is. The Mega Man X series and the Mega Man Battle Networks series are the ones that have gone so far downhill.
The original Mega Man series has always been consistently good, and the Mega Man Zero and ZX series are the same. I wonder how many people even play any of the new Mega Man games before they complain the series isn't good anymore. ZX was fun as hell, and ZX Advent is looking like it'll be quite a bit better.
I personally think I'll be playing Mega Man ZX Advent before I play Trials and Tribulations.

The Megaman series has really gone down the hill, it actually seems that Zero was the last good bit of the franchise. I hope capcom gets their head out of the water when they make megaman games, they have so many opportunities and use so little.

Oh yeah! Phoenix Wright!
I actually went and did business with Gamestop (ugh!) just to get that preordered. I'm so excited (Free Stuff!)

Off topic, but ZX is a continuation of Zero. It's not bad at all. Bad is the awful Battle Network and whatever that other RPG was on the DS.. ugh.
Totally getting Front Mission, and others are getting Phoenix Wright so I don't have to. Good week for gaming.

I've already finished the Japanese Phoenix Wright 3, so I get to try a few of the other releases here :P
Front Mission and Mega Man should be good. I might give Music Jam a go too.. I've heard it's not too bad, despite the godawful franchise.
And I every time I see "Imagine Master Chef", I can't help but read it as "Imagine Master Chief".
vgxtremist @ Oct 22nd 2007 11:41PM
Dang it...I'm happy with Sonic Rush Adv, and want KOFXI, but I've thought about Front Mission but not really that excited, and Phoneix sounds fun (missed the 1st two) and I'm tempted to get the 3rd one...sigh I want Dementium which comes out in a week.
bombtrak @ Oct 23rd 2007 11:00AM
I just finished playing through Megaman 1-6 on the NES, and I've played many of the X games (downhill after 2nd or 3rd). So when I heard ZX was good, I gave it a whirl. And while the gameplay was solid, it was not fun for me. Why? Generic anime-style art direction and storyline. Sorry, need something a bit more fresh to garner my interest these days.

> Code Gears: Hangyaku no Lelouch
That should be "Code Geass". "Geass" is a ... fetish from the mecha anime, now game.
Name in English is "Code Geass: Lelouch of Rebellion"

Please correct.
