Somebody's top ten NES games
Most "Top Ten NES Games" lists, of which there are two hundred released every second, turn out predictable and entirely skippable, but through the power of creative video editing, ScrewAttack managed to make their tally of favorites something worth the time spent watching it. You don't have to take our word for it! Dun-un, dun!
As expected, their list isn't perfect -- if it were, River City Ransom would occupy at least seven of the spots, leaving just enough room for Super Mario Bros. 3, Mega Man 2, and an emergency copy of River City Ransom. But it would be naive to think that any collection of NES games with "Top anything" written in proximity would satisfy everyone, unless, of course, it was a list of Top Gun titles (all two of them). So feel free to comment with your own selection of "Absolutely Best NES Games Ever."

This was a pretty good top 10. And I 100% agree that Super Mario Bros. 3 deserve #1 (as does everyone else in the video).

They forgot Kirby's Adventure and Super Dodge Ball. Also, Super C was better than Contra.

Did you just make a Reading Rainbow reference? Yes, I think you did.

Well, I at least agree with the top 3.

Not a NES top 10, but a shoot-em-up top 5. Only when these games are released on the VC, the early '90s gamers will breathe easy:

Obviously Mario Bros. 3 is the bestest NES game evar, if not the bestest game period. But I don't know, I would have moved something off the list just to make way for Punch-Out.

I love this. That was the funniest thing I've seen all day. Thank you GT and WiiFanboy!
Everyone at the end was obviously scripted except the dog, you could tell by that emotion that he meant it. I also like how the girl at the end has to make sure we know she's a girl. :)
I probably would've put Metroid at the top and then SMB3, but that's just me.

I, too, think this video is severely lacking in Punch-Out!!!
Also, no matter how many times people tell me certain games are bad, they'll always appear among my favorites. I mean, 3-D World Runner blew my mind with those amazing graphics.

It is a pretty good list, if someone were to buy all those games, they'd have a good deal of fun (Well, cept with Kid Ikarus, which you honestly can't have fun with, since it is frustrating, ugly, and doesn't age well at all)

Great list but would have replaced Batman with Mike's Punch Out
