New hardware MEGATON: Logitech's Wii keyboard

But as always, reality is less awesome than our controller fantasies. Logitech announced that their "new" USB keyboard will be ... the Classic Keyboard 200. (pictured above). They added a blurb to the Japanese product page that mentions that it's been tested with the Wii browser and found to work. Which means that you can get the new Wii peripheral right now, because it's just their basic USB keyboard. It only seems to be available in white in Japan, however. Importing might be worth it for you, because in addition to the color, the logo will say "Logicool" (Logitech's Japanese name) which we find hilarious.

Is there a USB -wireless- keyboard that works?

Logitech do an S510 wireless keyboard, which apparently works a treat.
I'm using one to type this.. But I never tried it on the Wii..
..
I should probably go do that.
*goes to try*
Yup, it DOES work a treat. (Although not through the CompetitionPro Recharger's USB Hub Extension thing, so that must just be a USB1 connector!)
Nice keyboard.. flat, like a laptop one.

Haha! In the new anime, 5 Centimeters Per Second, the LogiCool mouse makes a showcase. I thought it was a joke at first, but now that I know it's real, I'm laughing. Haha!

"Logitech" the name is already taken by another company in Japan so the foreign logitech had no choice but to use Logicool... I don't see the big deal...
(Not all Logitech products sold in Japan have "Logicool" printed on them - many are the same thing but only the packaging is different.

I also use a Logitech S510 with great results (good wireless range as well). For a list of some keyboard shortcuts, see http://www.elsonandlarissa.com.nyud.net/wiikeyboard
