Dojo update: Enter Lucas

Yay, another new character for Smash Bros. Brawl! Unfortunately, we've never heard of him. Oh, that's probably because the game he is from (Mother 3, in case you were wondering) never released outside of Japan. Still, a new character is nice, regardless of what game he is from, so we can't complain.

He doesn't look as cool as Ness, but I'm sure he's still pretty cool. Ah well.

Earthbound was a creative, fun game. It's a real shame that Mother 3 hasn't been brought to the States yet. Maybe having this character in a popular game for the US will get the gears moving in that direction.

Or high VC sales on Earthbound/Mother 2.

In Mother 3 he removes the final pin and destroys his entire world (hence no Mother 4)....tell me thats shite isn't off the chizzane. I'll miss Ness, but I think a new face will be a great addition; especially one as Boss as Lucas. Isn't he supposed to be stronger than Ness too?

My friend, a Ness master, mourns today, although this isn't declaring Ness's exclusion (there's still a shot of him getting in) the chances have gone up

Maybe this'll do for Mother 3 what Marth and Roy did for Fire Emblem, build up a Western love for a non-localized game

Well, the guy does say that he might be stringer than ness, implying, maybe, that ness will be in there...in some messed up indirect way?

I think Ness will still be in too.
Ness, Luigi, C.Falcon & Jigglypuff were all unlockable characters in the first game and none of them have yet to be introduced.
I wonder why...

They've gone on record as saying that all of the original 12 will be in Brawl.

If Ness wasn't in the original game, i would call this his Death Note (random side note, that anime is coming to adult swim)

Because that little statement about Ness could be interpreted either way, given the way he said it "could he be better than Ness?" meaning could he take Ness's place, as the Mother representative

i dont know but but this could mean ness is axed heres the evidence, for super smash brothers melee he was going to replace ness with lucas but mother 3 got delayed so he had to put ness in. he may have changed his plans but id say ness's chances of getting are 30/70 which is low.

OMG! This is so weird, because my name is Lucas...(which I know you're thinking "yeah whatever so are a lot of people's) but my middle name is Roy! I was just kinda freaking out on how unlikely that two obscure characters would find their way into the Smash Brothers series and have two of my names! wow...Sorry I was excited anyway =D
