TGS07: Beautiful new Tales of Innocence trailer

The post-show media just keeps rolling in! We're not complaining, though ... far from it, when the media in question is as mind-boggling as this Tales of Innocence trailer. Even us dedicated DS fans are sometimes impressed with the capabilities creative developers can wring out of our handheld.

This latest Tales installment is due for release in December in Japan, and there's no word on localization, but after seeing this trailer, we can only hope Namco Bandai picks up the slack.

If this delivers, it will be the yardstick by which 3D graphics on the DS are measured for some time to come. I'm in total awe.

I'm importing this even if it doesn't end up being localized. The gameplay footage in this trailer is so much smoother than Tales of the Tempest and it looks beautiful for a DS game.

Wow. Looks alot better than Tales of the Tempest. Also more interesting. I'll import it when it comes out, though it may be hard considering another game comes out a week or so before.

Holy sweet mother of god and all that's holy... that looks... incredible... I can't believe the DS is pushing these kinds of graphics! I am totally in awe, and I can't wait for this to come state-side. I am one of the few people that LOVE the Tales of gameplay, so having this... THIS pretty... on the DS? Hell. Yeah.

They better localize this thing for us English speakers, after not getting Tales of the Tempest I'm pretty angry at Namco-Bandai. Although to be honest, I've only played one Tales game, Tales of Phantasia, and that on an emulator, but it was probably one of the best games I ever played, right up there with Zelda and way better (imo) than Final Fantasy, although I've only played III for DS. The battle system is just so amazing, beats any other RPG hands down. After I finish the Metroid Prime trilogy, I'm probably going to borrow Symphonia from a friend (unfortunately this is going to be around the time Brawl comes out, so I'll have to divide my time between two amazing games.) So yeah, I'll be anxiously waiting for this game to come stateside. Don't let me down, Namco-Bandai.
