Harrison on the way out, taking Beatles jokes with him

Nintendo's senior vice president of marketing, George Harrison, is leaving Nintendo by the end of the year. While he didn't state a specific reason, it's likely that Harrison didn't want to move to Redwood City with Nintendo's marketing division.
No longer will we have the option of resorting to a Beatles reference to cover for our lack of business understanding. We totally never did that, because we all have business degrees, but it's always a good idea to have a backup.

Yet Perrin, who all predicted would quit as well, doesn't seem as apt to go into early retirement as Harrison. From what I've heard, ol' George is just kicking it back early, after all his years of hard work for Nintendo its nice to know he isn't just hooking up with Microsoft. Then again, he might do something wacky like that and I'd have to be depressed. He's a good guy, from what I've heard.

Hopefully Nintendo will have better marketing once they they hire some cooler people in New York or San Fran. I sort of always thought that was Nintendo's biggest weakness. I sort of hope Perrin leaves too for the same reason. But maybe Perrin will do a better job once she has a better boss. We'll see how much this changes nintendo's marketing.
