We can no longer ignore the signs: classic cartoons are clearly the
hottest thing going for DS developers and publishers lately, and Eidos has announced that they are jumping on the bandwagon. And by "jumping on," we mean "attempting to
seriously dominate the new market," as they're planning ten -- yes,
ten! -- different titles based on classic Hanna-Barbera 'toons like
Yogi Bear, the
Flintstones, and the
Jetsons. Let's just hope that they all end up looking as good as WayForward's
Duck Amuck appears to be.

If only they could have a smashing crossover...

Mission Magic DS! Draw yourself into the chalkboard, engage in a platform-esque fantasy sequence, then top it all off with a rhythm based guitar showdown with Rick Springfield! And of course, learning a lesson or two from Miss Tickle.
Given my age, I'm guessing that nobody knows what I'm talking about without Googling it.

Ten sounds a little scary... I'm sure some will suck.. at least I hope so because I don't have the funds for that much classic cartoon fun!

I love the Flintstones games on NES. I think it was made by Taito though, but if its anything like those game I would definitley buy it. Also I wouldnt mind a good tom and Jerry game.

I wouldn't get my hopes high for licensed games and Eidos...
