Yo mama so cheap, you can buy her at Play Asia for $14.90
If you caught our interview with Starmen.net's Reid Young, you already know that the chances of Nintendo of America ever bringing EarthBound's GBA sequel, Mother 3, to the states are slim to none. As depressing as that reality might be, you shouldn't let it stop you from experiencing one of the most endearing RPGs ever released.
There are several walkthroughs and guides available to assist you with the game's Japanese text, and, from now until next Tuesday, import shop Play-Asia will be selling copies of Mother 3 for only $14.90, less than a third of its standard price! What more do you need to convince you to pick this one up?

"What more do you need to convince you to pick this one up?"
Speaking Japanese.

From what I've read, the Japanese doesn't really interfere with being able to enjoy the game. If you run into some sort of problem, though, skimming through an online translation helps out a lot.
Thanks for the heads up on the discount, by the way! I just put in my order. Glad I held off on buying it.

I'd be willing to pick it up if it's comprised of practically 0% kanji. Better check out some screenshots...

Come on, this is worth picking up just to have. And there's enough online guides out there to help you out. Besides, by importing this, we can send a message. We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We're going to live on, we're going to survive...
Er... wait... that was the movie Independence Day.
Regardless, thanks for the heads up. Just put my order in.

Thanks for the heads up! I never would have known about this otherwise
It's like Wolfrider says, I am willing to read translations and such while I play to actually own the game for such a wonderful price. Almost bought the Mother 1+2 combo too, but figured I would stick with M3 for now.

This is a question that has stumped me for years. I know that the DS is region free when it comes to DS games, but what about GBA games? Will Japanese GBA games work on a NA DS?
If so, then I'll probably order in the next five seconds.

Yes, Japanese GBA games work on an American DS.
