Two-toned DS going to Japan sans bundle
The coolest DS color combination yet, and not only did the US get it (for once), but we got it before Japan. The crimson/black DS Lite, released here as part of a Brain Age 2 bundle, will be released in Japan on October 4. The system will be priced at the same 16,800 yen ($145) price point as any other DS Lite, and will come without any included software or extras.
That's not because Brain Age 2 is an undesirable product over there-- quite the opposite. It's just that every person in Japan already possesses at least one copy of Brain Age 2.

You would think the same could be said about the DS itself but i guess not everyone already owns a red and black DS.

I recently got one of these so I could give my white DS Lite to my nephew.
I liked the color combination and the look of the case. Unfortunately, I ended up not liking the case so much once I got it in my hands and tried to use it with its straps and all. Not using it now. Like Brian Age 2 though.
