Wii remote + iTunes = Waggle Tunes
If we could, we'd cut down on all the remotes we have lying around our family room and operate everything with our Wii Remote -- televisions, DVD players, our downward-spiraling lives, etc. -- but so far, the white wand hasn't been too useful outside of playing video games.
Mike Anderson's BlueTunes application adds an extra feature to the remote, allowing you to mess with the controls on media players like iTunes, Winamp, and Windows Media Player. Once you've installed the program on your computer and detected the remote as a bluetooth device, you'll be able to execute a number of playback functions by either pushing the controller's buttons or waving it around.
Unfortunately, if you're like us and have a playlist filled with nothing but Bel Biv Devoe's "Poison," using an application like BlueTunes to change tracks wouldn't make much sense. Really, there's no reason why you should ever skip "Poison," unless, of course, you want to listen to more "Poison."

it'd be even better if we had i-tunes or waggle whatever u wanna call it as a channel on the wii then we can watch movies n shows n music like on x box live marketplace

This is stupid: itunes originally came out on the mac, so I don't understand why it isn't for the mac as well?

Nobody uses a Mac. And those who do can run Windows apps through Parallels or a full instalation of Windows through BootCamp...

I've tried the program and it works well. Although personally I don't think I'll have much cause to use the app.
Normall PC remotes use far less battery power too.
I still like the use of the Wiimote on PC apps though.....games especially. Plus - the Wiimote on XBOX Halo 2 was very cool.

i tried on of those programs to use my Wiimote on my PC before with no luck. maybe ill try this one since i only wanted to use my Wiimote for Windows Media Player and iTunes anyway.

No Mac version? considering most of the people I know with a Wii either have a Mac or a Jeep (some have both), this makes the program seem rather silly. I thought PC users used Windows Media Player? LOL

As far as i know you can already get a remote for iTunes on the Mac. Guess I'll have to make me a wiimote script for foobar2000 myself. POISON!

What the hell was that? For your information, the program also works with Winamp, Napster, Windows Media Player, VLC, Media Player Classic and Quintessential Player.
