Boy drops DS, boy comes back next day and finds DS mauled

Of course, there's no better way for the universe to tell you it's time to upgrade to a DS Lite, but it looks like John has decided to stick with the Phat.

WARNING! DISCONTINUITY! The above DS is a lite, obviously. He downgraded to a phat, probably because he couldn't afford another lite (or because the phat won't slip out)

That is obviously a Lite. Look as the select and start buttons and the GBA slot cover.

Holy crap, that's some MASSIVE damage!

Maybe its me and my OCD. But when my DS or iPod goes in my pocket, I check every minute that its still there. It doesn't matter to me that its jabbing my thigh, I still need to check it out with my hands. I do the same with my wallet, concert tickets, and keys. It's a sickness really but I never left my DS in an intersection because of it.

Ninty has stopped using Nintendanium. A Gameboy would have survived.
Vince @ Aug 29th 2007 9:48AM
I'm not even sure a gameboy would have survived a day at an intersection.

That'd never happen to me, I have big pockets, but i know if something like that is missing, the worst i've ever done is my AWDS cart fell out of my pocket in the car. but that's because i was sitting.
