Diamond and Pearl: 10 million served

Nintendo announced that Pokemon Diamond and Pearl have sold 10 million units worldwide. That's one for every dollar in this year's Publisher's Clearinghouse sweepstakes. The games have sold a collective 5.2 million copies in Japan, with the US making up most of the rest. Diamond and Pearl just came out in Europe on the 27th, so expect this number to continue climbing. Don't expect the formula for Pokemon games to change any time soon. At this point, that would be harming the economy of a small nation, composed entirely of Pokemon game cartridges.

Ha Ha call butler. I have 2 gym badges and have evolved a third of all the Pokemon I've caught and is catchable to that point.

I am very dissapointed with myself when it comes to this game.
I have over 100 hours logged in and have yet to beat the elite four. I became so distracted with breeding and trading online that I was never able to finish the game.
I finally stopped playing two weeks ago and doubt I'll pick it up anytime soon.
Oh well.

Havent played much since I got a job, but now that I have free time, I'm starting to clock some hours into Diamond.
Battle Revolution looks tempting, though I *know* its a PoS game...

Sorry, DS Fanboys - rag on Pokemon all you want, but it's keeping your precious Nintendo alive. I bought my DS Lite specifically to play Pokemon Diamond.
...and if it took you 100 hours to beat the Elite Four, Pizza Pasta, you're worse at Pokemon than a 6 year old. I beat them in 28 hours.

Taking a jillion hours doesn't mean you're bad, it means you're enjoying all of the game rather than doing a speed run. =P

I'm at 28 hours and haven't gotten the third gym badge. Ahh good old Blue with 255+ and 100+ hours and Silver 100+ as well. I'm not going through the trouble to try to reach them to Diamond.

I live in Europe, I imported the game as soon as it came out in the USA. I have a feeling that doing so a may have caused me to do terribly in my exams. Woops.

You wouldn't be able to. There's no way to get them into the third generation for D/P upload.

I love the new one, i think its really addictive, i still play it all the time, i actually am right now (not kidding).
