Wii Warm Up: Get out of my DS, get into my Wii
We've seen a few DS franchises expand to the Wii or, in the case of Trauma Center, jump ship entirely. We don't really have a problem with this, and, in fact, it can convert a single-player hit like Big Brain Academy into a party game with no real compromises to the original formula. We personally have a massive crush on the Ouendan/Elite Beat Agents games, and want to see them on any and every console. We have a suspicion that iNiS could come up with a unique and clever interface for a Wii music game. What DS games would you like to see take the trip into waggle country?

Cooking Mama, oh wait. Err Phoenix Wright?
vidGuy @ Jul 22nd 2007 11:11AM
Phoenix Wrignht, though it would have to be expanded somehow to make it feel like a "full" console game. I just love the humor in it.

Phoenix wright, mario and luigi, and mario vs donkey kong would be sweet.

The outright best game that they could get off the DS would be the Jump (Ultimate/Super) Stars games would be awesome to go onto a console with Wi-Fi gaming and everything. Of course this would never happen (especially in America) because of copywrite laws ><
Other than Jump, if they made a Phoenix Wright game with more depth, it would be a good console experience (I love Phoenix btw!)

I personally would like the following:
1. Metroid Prime Hunters; fully fleshed-out FPS with online multiplayer, using the awesome MP3 control set up and a bigger story mode.
2. Advance Wars: I see this one being WiiWare, but still it would be great, and include online multiplayer!
3. Electroplankton: again, WiiWare, I think.
I'm sure there are others, but those are the first that come to mind for me!

Metroid Prime Hunters (multiplayer based Metroid experience)
Is it wrong to ask for a Wii version of Kirby: Canvas Curse (or something that works remarkably like it?)

How about a DS player? Like the Gameboy player. I mean, come on! Using the pointer as a stylus can't be that hard, right?
Okay, maybe it can for EBA or Ouendon.
OUENDOOOOON!

I've been clamoring for "New Super Mario Bros" on the Wii

Don't see why we can't do an Ouendan with two Wiimotes. Then, we can make fools of ourselves copying the squad's moves. And it would be fun.

I would simply love GB and GBA games on the VC.
And not only for play on the wii, which would be fun, but also to save to SD.and use some sort of DS adapter (likely in the GBA slot) to read the ROMs.

Wow that idea of using Wii VC for DS SD card reminded me of Japan's Nintendo Power. How hard could it be to take the localization and put them over the Disk versions?

Duh!- It's a little game called 'Doki Doki Majo Shinpan'. Like, look it up sometime, 'kay?
Also, Professor Layton, Pheonix Wright, NSMB, EBA/Ouendon and Mega Man...Mega Man 9, that is. I just want some 2D old-skool Mega Man gaming on the big screen, really.
JKAntwon @ Jul 23rd 2007 2:25AM
I second New Super Mario Brothers!

You ever notice how the Ouendan/Agents are pointing and flail and lean to follow (sort of) the markers? I really, really wanna see a Wii version of Ouendan where you have to point and flail and lean in the same way.
Obviously, now, it would HAVE to use the balance board plus the nunchuck setup. Maybe with an extender cable to let you fully extend your arms.
