Martha Stewart bakes a cake worth hiding a file in
Has the time limit run out on Martha Stewart prison humor? We hope not, even though we know the 'baking a file into a cake' humor died out eons ago.
Martha appears on the cover of the August Wired magazine, promoting a feature inside on how to bake a Wii cake. It is amazingly cool to us that a mainstream magazine has not only the Wii on its cover, but a Wii cake. Gaming cakes seem so much like the exclusive domain of the Internet.

It may not help street cred but it certainly helps the mainstream accept gaming culture. We can point out and say we bake cakes...

This sucks! WIRED just lost some credit in my book for putting Martha on the cover. I am not looking forward to seeing this issue hit my mailbox, Wii cake or not.

Am I the only one who noticed that the Wii Remote's proportions are completely off compared to the Wii?

Don't get too excited. The "article", which for the Wii cake is really just a small column, ends by saying DO NOT EAT! Apparently to get the "cake" to stand that way they had to remove baking soda from the ingredients, making it taste "like old Atari cartridges", according to the magazine.
