Dojo update: Smashville stage

Today's Dojo update only brings us news of a new stage. Oh, but how awesome that stage looks, as Smashville makes its debut in the Super Smash Bros. franchise. With an Animal Crossing feel, the stage will seem familiar to all who've spent many an hour fishing in streams, digging for fossils and attending live performances of one K. K. Slider. Well, now you can catch him performing live in Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Saturday nights, as well!

Animal Crossing, the originator of the Virtual Console! I didn't think I could possibly BE any more excited for Brawl. I was wrong.

As long as it remains a stage, I'm totally cool with AC stuff getting in the game. Assist trophies and other items are all game for me, too.

But I don't want to see Tom Nook (or whoever) as a playable character or something. That would bother me way too much, given the kind of game it is.

Dear sweet baby Jesus, let them release a downloadable Brawl demo, even if it costs some Wii points, and let them include this stage! I would die of happiness!

Can anyone say... BEST STAGE EVER?!

This is going to be my new favorite stage.

And Totakeke (K.K. Slider) making an appearance on Saturday nights is even MORE of an incentive to play this game on a regular basis.

Anyone else think that all of the stages are exactly the same? Theyre all stages that fly around familiar scenery but essentially they are all just...

a lot of the new ones yes

But some of the ones they haven't shown yet have looked pretty well-designed (the Kid Icarus stage, the Metal Gear stage, that Fire Emblem-esque fortress)

But i think there will be an Animal Crossing character for 2 reasons
1: There has NEVER been a Smash Bros stage based on a series that wasn't represented
2: They gave a distinct symbol for the stage, and only playables get symbols (otherwise Dr. Wright would've gotten something less generic)
