NOT E307: Fake Golden Sun DS announced

Only a couple of hours before Nintendo's E3 media briefing yesterday, rumors of a new Golden Sun game for the DS began to spread like a fast-moving cancer, traveling through the internet's lymphatic system, taking over gaming blogs and forums. Even Joystiq, the wind beneath our wings, fell victim to the malignant screenshots that were supposedly leaked from a "secret press gathering" by person-in-the-know gobo_4227.To your right, you'll see one of those supposed screenshots of Golden Sun: The Sooth Sayer compared with promotional artwork that was released for Golden Sun: The Lost Age back in 2002. Unless you count the bloom filter and "Touch to Start" text, the images are exact twins. The fact that we've heard no official mention of the new RPG -- or any other Camelot-developed title for either Nintendo console -- whilst E3 continues makes this rumor seem even more unconvincing.

OK, hardly enough to say "Well, there you go. A new DS version" but just thought that having honed my skills on the DS 'spot the difference' type game I had to share!

I should have known better than to get my hopes up for this one. Which I have been waiting for ever since I finished off GS2. At least Advance Wars DS 2 is still on the horizon...well vaguely, with no screens or news of it or anything.

Its simple really. email camelot they made goldensun. i love golden sun to death so seeing that picture is fail. it's just an artwork from lost world. and that boy in back is a girl, named sheba

The bloom effects are tricking you, they are facing the same direction in both shots.

Nintendo and Camelot just doesn't get it...
There is a rumor which says there will be a GS sequel. It "spreads like a fast-moving cancer". Hundreds of thousands of fans are getting excited. Most of them doesn't even have a DS - But when they hear about GS3, they consider buying one.
I'm asking: ISN'T IT A F*CKIN' SIGN? DON'T THEY SEE THE BIG POTENTIAL IN THIS TITLE? DON'T THEY WANNA MAKE MONEY?

does suck that there isn't a threequel yet. but if it's for DS i'm going to be sooo pissed
