Super Mario Galaxy release date: November 12th

Along with some video of Super Mario Galaxy in the background and some very nice footage of a family enjoying themselves, we got an announcement we've all been waiting for: the release date for Super Mario Galaxy. November 12th. It's not now, but it's not never either.

It's official, best Nintendo Keynote ever!

Between the Wii and the 360, I have a new release every few weeks and months upon months of gaming to do. Fantastic.

i was so surprised, i kept updating the ign page and the engadget/joystiq stuff, but ign.com sort of annoyed me and made me sort of scared because they called super mario galaxy "sunshine" and i was like, what.......why would that be releasing, definently mean galaxy, definently, anyway, that was the best hour of sitting infront of my computer and constantly refreshing.
