Wendy's reminds us there are still 250 Wiis left to win
We're no stranger to the partnership between Nintendo and Wendy's, what with seeing the toys and the contests. Well, we just got an email from their PR folk, letting us know there are still 250 Wiis left to win from the company. And, you don't have to even get up from your chair (although those nuggets sound good right about now)!
Nope, just point your mouse towards here and get to entering as these 250 Wiis only have a month left to go. They're also giving away points cards and, if you need more reason to enter (as if), then you can even hit up the winner's map (link is in the bottom middle) to see some of those who've already won across the country.

You know why all those Wii's are left to win?
When I go to Wendy's, they never give me a cup with a code. I have to demand that they give me a cup with the code, but about two weeks ago, they started telling me they didn't have any cups with codes. I went to a bunch of Wendy's and I couldn't get a Frosty Float with a code, so I stopped going even though the Wendy's are all covered in advertisements for the Wii since cups with codes are so hard to find in northern Illinois.
I even sent Wendy's an e-mail asking for a replacement code, but they never answered.

Guess the amount of people entering the contest must have went way down. I never tried

This give-away is ridiculous. NO I will not be giving out my mobile number so Wendy's can text me in the middle of the night! ABSURD!!

rabid1, if you look closely it says that the mobile phone is optional...

Actually, you can enter without a code, up to 5 times a day at this site:
http://www.frostyfloat.com/index.tbapp?page=alternate_form
No idea if coming in from that alternate_form page reduces chances of winning or not, but it can't hurt to try. Wish there was a way to prove/disprove that theory somehow. I enter semi-regularly this way, but haven't won anything. And yes, quite a few of those fields are optional. Just check before you fill them out or not - I haven't entered my mobile at all and have opted not to be included for future promos.

I'm with Pete. I always use the alt form but have yet to win anything. Oh well. I think it's all a hoax for them to get our info! :D And the frosty float's aren't that good anyways...

I actually won a Wii from this. I thought that it was the code on the cup that determined the winnner, but I was reading the rules. It states that the computer randomly generates times, and the first code to log on after the time has been generated wins that prize.
The only downside to this is that you do not get the Wii until 8-10 weeks once the contest is over (July 31), so I will not be seeing my Wii until around October.
