Wii Warm Up: Mario Party Hard
Call us old-school, but it just doesn't seem like Mario Party without damage to controllers or players. Our college dorm was a mausoleum of N64 controllers, their lifeless joysticks rattling limply around in the casing, dooming us to a fate of smaller Smash Bros. matches. However, with the substitution of waggle for rotation, those days of joystick fatigue and court-mandated free thumb gloves may be over. Being dedicated Wii players, have you managed to find a way to hurt yourself or your Wiimote playing Mario Party 8? Has the combination of Mario Party and projectile Wiimotes caused a deadly nexus of TV destruction and personal injury? Or is your thumb happy now that you've found a new way to Party?
[Thanks for the topic suggestion, Zack!]

Personally, I cant help but compare this game to rolling dice. Everything is so heavily chance-based, its just not fun to play at all.

I rented Mario Party 8 for five nights and took it back after three. I'm bummed this game is selling well, I think it's the worst one yet. The boards aren't creative at all and not many of the minigames "worked" (in the sense that they were actually fun).

No injuries here. I have never owned or played MP, so I bought this right away. I have played it solo for 2 or 3 hours, once with my wife, and 4 player with some friends. It has been a blast everytime. Of course the more players, the better.

I like the hotel level, that's probably my favorite one of all of them.
My friend smashed his hand on the wall during Mario Party, but that's about it.
It's not nearly as bad as the "Rotate the Joystick" levels. Man, I had blistered palms after two or three games.

I hit myself in the forehead playing tennis. My copy of MP8 is sitting on the shelf awaiting unwrapping.

That last Mario Party I played was 3, maybe 4? I miss it, but I heard this one sucks. 9 best be good.
Haha I remember Andrew, where is he now?

"Shake it up!" Best game ever, because of it's masterbation motions to declare the winner, you get to make fun of thtat person! Oh man, my friends and I laugh everytime, because we feel soo idiotic doing it. So fun though.
