Poll: Do you play with friends in the flesh?

Of course, we then thought about you, fine reader. Do you play with friends in the flesh, or do you enjoy (or try to, rather) Wi-Fi over the interwubs? Or, do you enjoy both?

DS is by far the best real life multiplayer experience in my opinion.

My family and I always play in the flesh! Wi-fi is just too buggy and often requires a phone call to coordinate the game.
I took this picture because I was interested how my sisters were bonding with their heads buried in their game.

Online's lackluster IMO. So flesh and bones it is!
What it lacks:
Voice (I know pokemon has it, and metroid on lobbies, but what about Starfox, Mario Kart and the rest?)
Game types: Some games have different features offline than online, for example battle mode on Mario Kart, or computer-controlled players (so that it isnt a 1 on 1 race...)
A way to know if your friend is online: I'm playing Mario Kart, he's playing Starfox online. There's no way for me to know that, so that I can switch and play starfox (or he can hop onto Mario Kart), therefore, we end up not playing against each other.

The friend code thing basically keeps me from just going online and hooking up with people.
I tried it when I first got my DS but the hassle was too much, so I haven't done so since.

I don't play multiplayer at all, what is my option?
Why?
1) I have no/very few friends and none of those has DS/atleast they don't want to play with me.
2) Friendcodes suck.
There you have it.

I don't know a single person with a DS other than me, so on-line is the only option I have. That's the problem with having non-gamer friends, I suppose....

- Yeah, I play a little of both. But moreso in the flesh. It's usually at school during lunch or when there's nothing to do in PE. And I actually meet new friends by playing with them in real life. It's really passed the time when I camped out for the Wii on launch day and the Fusion Tour.
- And since I met people in real life, I never really had to hassle with friend codes. I'm fine with fighting random people online. I mean, I can pull off full conversations with my real friends in Metroid. I would never be able to pull that off with a stranger I met online. And the only time I had to use friend codes was when my friend wanted to talk to me but wasn't on my list, but still on someone elses list in the same lobby.
- Yeah...the DS is a marvelous multiplayer system. That is, until someone stole all my multiplayer games from behind my back.
