Metroid Prime 3 gets delayed, makes Samus cry

Nintendo is trying to trick us!Metroid Prime 3 isn't releasing on August 20th as Nintendo previously stated, but instead the true date for its release is more dark and sinister than we could ever imagine. What news? Metroid Prime 3 is releasing a full week later than we expected. Our spies found this information buried at the bottom of the latest Phantom Hourglass press release issued, where Nintendo was sure nobody would bother to look. Sorry, Nintendo, we're the kind of people who read the whole press release.
Why would the game be released a week later? What would Nintendo need the extra 7 days for? What was that about hats again?

A week isnt enough to add a significant feature like Online Play, so it must be some bug they found.
That said, if this game doesn't have online, I'm not buying it.

Maybe they have to reprint the boxart because they forgot the WiFi logo? ;)
I'm thinking this extra week gives me enough time to play through MP again and finally buy and play through MP2.

Oh, good, now I'll have a whole week to enjoy Bioshock. I was angry at Nintendo when they announced that it was coming out literally the day before. I mean, Shock versus Metroid Prime? That's like choosing between my wife and my child!

Do you think maybe they meant to type 20th and not 27th? I know it may be a long shot but I have hope.
Whatever the reason could be. Its only a week. I can live with that.

This'll definitely frazzle my life a little, putting the street date (28th) on the 2nd day of school, and also 2 days after my birthday
Doesn't really matter in the end, we've seen a delay of 9 months from the initial release date, another week will be nothing

Apparently, they want to come after the competition again. That date does dance around the release of Halo3, although why they would intentionally sync with that kind of competition does seem illogical.

Ugh, why dont we just say it comes out christmas ad then any time sooner would be a surprise, i mean, really go back to school the 20th, so MP3 was the thing that was going to soothe the go-back-to-school pain, but nooooo, they jst wanna keep screwing with me. thats great, a whole week+ of school.
