Make a pixel t-shirt

The title is imperative for a reason. Seriously, you should either be working on a t-shirt right now or headed out to Michaels to pick up supplies. Oh, or reading this post. That's totally fine.To make this Princess Peach shirt, HackerZen user Lenore adapted the technique used by a very faithful reader to make his Phoenix Wright shirt, adding the extra step of drawing a grid on the shirt with a washable marker, then filling in pixels to make a big sprite. Excellent.
But don't just default to Mario. There are a lot of sprites out there. Get creative!

Woo-hoo I beat SMB1 an hour ago! First time I beat that game. She has a weird 1 and 1/2 Mario size.

Oooh. I'll do as the post's title commands.
Though I keep thinking that it's a pain to marker a grid on flexible fabric. I think you'd be better off markering the grid on several layers of freezer paper instead, and use one stencil for each color. But then... alignment issues. meh.

Good idea, Stef. I think you'd have a VERY hard time keeping the freezer paper aligned, and you'd end up with some bleeding. You'd also have to iron over painted parts, which I'm not sure about.
I intend to try this myself very soon.
